“Time clings to their bodies, and fragments of an unfinished life still reside in the colors. These paintings do not speak of beginnings or conclusions, but of figures momentarily standing in the gap of an unfinished moment. I dwell on the postures left behind—before everything comes into being, or after all has disappeared.”
